The Last 10 Percent

December 4, 2012

The ninety-ninety rule of computer programming states the following:

“The first 90 percent of the code accounts for the first 90 percent of the development time. The remaining 10 percent of the code accounts for the other 90 percent of the development time.”

I mention this because we are finishing the last 10 percent (2 percent, really) of the website and finding out just how much work is involved. Every time something is changed or added, it feels like three new things need to be addressed. It certainly makes the whole process very interesting.

I want to emphasize that the website is not 100% finalized, but it’s very close. If you come across a wayward comma or a photo that takes a bit too long to load, please know that it will soon be fixed.

You can still get a feel for the organization, learn about our current projects, and even make a donation if you’d like. So, to echo what ac wrote in the previous post, welcome to the (oh so very close to being finished) site for You Assist. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get this far.
